Accommodation Information
Kickenback consists of a two bedroom, two bathroom Chalet and a separate Studio located within a scenic resort setting and just outside the Kosciuszko National Park boundary. The Chalet and Studio can be booked separately or, for families or larger groups, can be booked together, providing a three bedroom, three bathroom ‘Lodge’ option.
This single level accommodation allows easy wheelchair access for guests with a disability; the property is one of only a few in the Lake Crackenback area on a single level. Kickenback is also one of the few properties in Crackenback to offer a large flat open outdoors grassy backyard space, perfect for children.
Two ample double stack car spaces are available to guests.
Both the chalet and studio have reverse cycle air-conditioning and gas fireplaces as well as floor heating in all bathrooms, in the chalet master bedroom and under selected external window areas. Free Wi-Fi (limited data capacity) and Foxtel Movie, Sports and News TV channels are also provided.
The studio and the chalet are linked by a common foyer area with an adjoining laundry/drying room complete with ski-tuning work bench.
Ideal for families or groups of friends, this accommodation is the perfect choice to enjoy an Australian alpine experience any time of the year.
Chalet
The spacious two bedroom chalet captures the beautiful mountain views, with large windows that introduce natural light. Offering disabled access, the open plan design features a large lounge area, dining suite, fully equipped kitchen, two ensuite bathrooms one with disabled access and one with a hydrotherapy spa bath.
Throughout winter guests can relax by the gas fireplace after a day on the slopes, while during the warmer months they can enjoy the surrounds and use the covered outdoor patio containing a gas BBQ. Additionally, there are electric panel heaters and reverse cycle air-conditioning for all-weather comfort.
This chalet can sleep up to six people – the master bedroom contains a queen bed and a trundle, the second bedroom contains two single beds which can be combined to form a king double, and there is a single bed in the lounge area.

Studio
The spacious one bedroom studio apartment contains a fully equipped kitchen, open plan lounge and dining area and a luxurious bathroom with large spa bath. The studio also has a gas fireplace, electric panel heating, reverse cycle air-conditioning and its own private courtyard area with gas BBQ.
The studio contains a queen bed and a pull-out trundle to accommodate up to 3 people.
